Regular cleaning (subscription)

Want your home cleaned regularly? With a subscription for one address you book 2 cleans within 30 days and pay after the first clean. Family houses and villas

We clean family houses and villas in Prague and the surrounding area too. Apartments from 1-room to 4-room have fixed prices; larger flats and family houses are billed by the hours worked, not per m²: 380 CZK per hour for each cleaner. One or two cleaners come to a big house, and a house usually takes from 4 hours. The calculator doesn’t show houses, so we agree the price with you by phone or e-mail before the clean. For a big or neglected house we send a team: 1,500 CZK/h for 3 cleaners, minimum 3 hours (4,500 CZK) – see deep cleaning in Prague.

Apartment and house cleaning prices in Prague

Nowadays, it is important to get your priorities right. The modern woman pursues everything: to be a good housekeeper, wife and work, while some of her tasks can be delegated to special services.

Let’s try to find out how much it costs to clean a house and compare the prices of cleaning companies, private individuals and our service.

In this article we explain:

  • what the price of cleaning usually depends on
  • we compare prices on the market of cleaning companies in Prague
  • how much to pay for general cleaning of an apartment or general cleaning of a house
  • how much to pay for apartment cleaning after renovation.

What does the price of cleaning depend on?

Let’s take a look at a few key factors that affect the overall cost of cleaning:

  • number of rooms
  • size of the apartment (house)
  • degree of dirtiness of the space
  • how cluttered the space is (e.g. if furniture needs to be moved)
  • what cleaning products will be used
  • cleaning options (one person or a group).

On the number of rooms

We compared the prices of our services and the prices of other cleaning companies and private individuals who work on a commercial basis:

Depending on the types of services

Some types of cleaning aren’t done every week and are called additional services. For example:

  • Window cleaning
  • Washing the inside of the fridge
  • Washing the microwave
  • Washing dishes
  • Ironing laundry and more

Such services are charged separately.

In the next table you will see the current prices for additional cleaning services and you can calculate the total cost including them.

Table 2: Additional services by Ohayno (prices exclude VAT).

You can calculate the cost on our web calculator or ask our manager – he will be glad to advise you. Carpet, sofa and mattress cleaning has its own price list and a 2,500 CZK minimum order, even when you add it to a regular clean.

How much does an hour of cleaning cost?

If you only want some rooms cleaned or need work outside the checklist (ironing, for example), book hourly cleaning. One cleaner costs 380 CZK per hour, and the minimum visit is 2 hours. The rate drops to 330 CZK/h when you book 10 or more hours (you pay after the first clean), each clean lasts at least 2 hours and you book at least 2 cleans within 30 days. A flat price, on the other hand, gives you a fixed scope and price in advance.

How much deep cleaning costs

Deep cleaning in Prague is billed by the team’s hours, not per m². We estimate the hours from the floor area and photos or a video of your flat or house.

ServicePrice
Team of 3 cleaners1,500 CZK/h
Each extra cleaner+400 CZK/h
Minimum order3 hours (4,500 CZK)
Roughly 100 m² and more, after a fire or floodindividually

How much cleaning after a renovation costs

Post-renovation cleaning works the same way: billed by the team’s hours, priced in advance from the area and photos.

How a clean with Ohayno works

  1. Work out the price for your apartment in the calculator and order online, or call us. We take orders 24/7 and agree the date based on availability.
  2. Vetted cleaners arrive with their own cleaning products and equipment. We use your vacuum cleaner so dirt doesn’t travel between homes; if you don’t have one, tell us in advance.
  3. They clean to the checklist for the type of clean you chose, plus any additional services you ordered.
  4. You check the result and pay only then, in cash or by card. Anything that isn’t right we fix on the spot.
  5. You rate the clean from 1 to 5. If you find a problem later, send us a description or a photo within 3 days and we’ll agree a fix.

Summary

  1. Private individuals don’t have any ranking of cleaning or additional services, they only clean what they find appropriate and at “agreed prices”.
  1. Cleaning costs in some competitors are slightly lower than ours. As a rule, they set low prices for cleaning in the home, but charge separately for other services, which makes another 20-30% of the total price. Another thing: some of them don’t have a clear level of control, training, training of cleaning ladies, customer care and compensation in case of bad cleaning
  1. A one-off professional household clean costs just 800 CZK + the additional services you choose. If you buy a subscription for 2 cleans within 30 days, one clean costs just 650 CZK. With a transparent price list, you know in advance what you’ll pay, with no hidden fees.

The result: with a subscription you save 150 CZK on every clean of a 1-room flat.

Our staff are vetted and sign a non-disclosure agreement, and we are insured against damage up to 5,000,000 CZK.
